We found each other in a most unusual way. One day(April 9th) I got a note on my computer saying that he had seen my picture and wanted to talk. Well we ended up talking and became fast friends. Even with me in Texas and Daniel in the middle of fighting a war in Iraq.Soon we went from the computer to late night(because of the time difference!) phone calls and beautiful sweet letters in which I got to know an amazing, brave and terribly sweet man. About four months after we met Dan returned back to his station in Germany and we got even closer. Soon we knew we had to be together. We both admitted we had fallen in love and HARD! We always felt like we knew each other forever and that we had a deep connection neither of us had ever felt before.Dan proposed one night from Germany saying he had been thinking he could be with me for a long time and that would I spend the rest of my life with him. Not a day went by we didnt talk (unless the Army prevented it) and we knew that we could no longer be apart. The Holidays of 2004 were spent in each others arms ,happy as can be in Texas and Missouri. Spending precious days looking in each others eyes and night catching up on holding and loving each other. As it stands we can not wait to be married in July and We will be bi-continental, living in Germany and Texas.

Our Family - Our parents are Linda and Perry Nickell and Helma and Donald Dickey Katharina has one sister Christina Diana Dickey-Willcutt a brother in law Lance Willcutt Three nieces Erika Ann , Anna Katharina And Suzie Belle. Daniel has two brothers, Josh and Ryan. The most important lil people are our children Devante Joseph Lamont Hall, Michael Patrick Nickell and Kohen Ty Ashton Hall
