Wedding Scrapbook

Welcome to our online digital scrapbook. This wedding scrapbook is special, because we can share it with so many people. This is our chance to do some storytelling about our past, our history together, and our thoughts and dreams. Later on, we'll share stories and photos of our events, as they pass and let everybody share the good memories.

Like every scrapbook, each page in our scrapbook will paint the picture of our life as we get married. If you enjoy these stories, send us a Wedding Wish in the Guest Center.

We've also included our trove of online photos, photos in the Photo Galleries are located here in our website, and we use them in our scrapbook. These Photo Galleries also give instructions for accessing other photo sharing websites.

We talked about the wedding, where, when, what it would be like. Scott had decided that due to not ever having a formal wedding, he wanted one; you know the type of wedding with guests and an actually ceremony. He did not care if it was a church wedding, but we agreed that we wanted it outdoors, preferably in the springtime when it is colorful, but not too horribly hot.

We wanted the wedding in the afternoon or evening and small with just family and friends. We both agreed that the wedding party should also be small and the ceremony intimate. I chose the victorian romance theme as a perfect setting for a springtime, and a intimate gathering.

In this computer age it is not so uncommon to hear about internet surfers finding travel packages, clothing, furniture, even cars. But computers also have introduced thousands of people to personals.

It just so happened that Scott & I met on Yahoo Personals by chance. I do not think either of us planned it that way or even thought that we would meet someone new. Scott had only been online for two weeks when I placed my personal. January 11,2004 I received an IM from Scott - we texted back and forth for an hour and then decided to talk on the phone. We had a great conversation and planned to go on a date that coming Friday. When I checked my email on Monday, Scott was online and IM'd to ask if he could stop by!?! Funny, Scott lived in Winchester, VA and I lived in Frederick, MD, which happened to be an hour away, so I knew he was not just stopping by. He came by around 700pm and stayed that night until 1030pm. Needless to say we didn't have to have our first date that Friday, but everyday that week instead.

Scotty is from Winchester. He has grown up here and pretty much stayed in the area, but he loves to travel. Together we have been to Cancun, Ocean City, DC, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. He has a 15 year old son named Dylan, who lives about 20 miles away and we see regularly. Scotty has a sister and two brothers. Debbie and Mike live here in Winchester and Tony lives in New Jersey. When we met Scotty was in Management at a window/sash manufacturer and now is in his own business with one of his buddies in commerical and resisdential painting.
