Let me tell you a little bit about Rachel and Christine. I couldn't have just one Maid of Honor because I have two special friends in my life. So I have Rachel as my Matron of Honor, and Christine as my Maid of Honor. Alexis is my bridesmaid, Alysha is my Junior bridesmaid, and Hannah is my flower girl. I feel that those are all just titles and all of these people are very special to me. That's why I asked them to be in my wedding :) Anyhow, lets start with Rachel. I have known Rachel since the seventh grade. We have been really close ever since. We met in seventh grade home-room. It's funny because except for home-room, I don't think we ever took any other classes together through out school. We had a a lot of fun in high school. We hung out with a close knit group: Rachel, Jamie, Leslie, and I. After high school, most of my friends moved away and we lost touch. It seems like Rachel and I were the only ones that stuck around Sacramento. I'm glad though because we have been able to share so much in each others lives. I have been around to watch Rachel get married and have three kids, and a step daughter and become very successful in her career as an engineer. Rachel has been around to see me graduate from ARC, and have Ryan, and help me plan a wedding. When I was in Rachel's wedding, I told her "If I ever get married I want you to be my Matron of Honor." And now that time has come :) I'm so happy to have her here to share in this special day with me. Christine is another special friend of mine. I've known Christine for about six years now. We met through a mutual friend, and I reccomended a job in dialysis to her. We have been friends and have worked together in a few different dialysis units over the years. When I met Christine she had this cute, cute, cute little six month old baby girl. That little girl is Hannah, she just turned seven in May. She is going to be my flower girl. She is a good kid, and a smart kid too. Christine makes me laugh. We have a good friendship because we can laugh so much together. When we get together we are worse that two little kids giggling over the dumbest stuff. But we have fun and that's what's best about it. Before I met Jeff, Christine and I hung out together a lot. I can think of many fun times I spent with Christine. One time we went to Santa Cruz for the weekend. We went to a few bars at night, during the day we went to the beach, rode some of the roller coasters, played video games, just had fun. Then Jeff came into my life. HAHAHA. Poor Christine, I should be suprised she still talks to me :) When Jeff moved into town, I dropped her like a hot potatoe and started spending all my time with Jeff. I was in love, what can I say? :) Luckily, Christine is a good friend. We don't go out drinking like we used to when I was single, but our friendship has remained good. Christine was so helpful when I was pregnant. She helped me through mood swings, and food cravings. She even threw a really nice baby shower for me before I had Ryan. Christine is a good friend because she always makes me laugh, listens to me whine when I need to whine and nobody else will listen, and is an over all awesome person. But watch out when we are both PMSing at the same time and are stuck in the same room together for twelve hours at a time at work!!!! Can you say "MEOW!!!!" :) HAHAHA But since we are such good friends we can get over it pretty fast. That's why Christine is my Maid of Honor. Her and Rachel are my two closet friends and I needed them both to have a special role in my wedding.

Diary Entry on 15.Jun 2005: Our busy lives

I can't belive Ryan will be two years old in August!!!! Time is going by so fast and my baby is growing up. He is so much fun. He is your typical toddler and does throw big fits when he wants to, but most of the time we have a lot of fun together. Life has been challenging since we had Ryan, but all worth it. Jeff and I have both been working full time, going to school full time, and trying to spend time together as a family. Things should get a little better as Jeff has finished his bachelors degree at California State University of Sacramento this spring. Jeff was taking classes at night, so I look forward to being able to spend more time with him now that he's done. I still have about three semester to go for my Bachelors degree. I'm thinking about going into the masters program, but we'll see. It's hard to say what will be going on at the time I finish with my bachelors. If and when we decide to have another child it might set back the whole masters program idea. It's really tough juggling school, work, and a newborn. If I get my masters and have more kids I'll end up being a very educated house wife!!!! HAHAHA What do you think of that Jeff? :)

Diary Entry on 12.Jun 2005: Jeff and I have shared life events together, some sad, some happy.

For the first year or so after jeff moved down, he lived with some roommates in a condo in the Rosemont area. I lived with a roommate in an apartment about eight miles away from his place. AHHHH, Jeff and I both have some good roommate stories. It wasn't always easy having roommates. Ask Jeff about his first roommate in the condo some time. This guy was a real gem. We had a saying "Bake it twice, make it nice". It was an inside joke between Jeff and I about his roommates cooking habits. He'd leave food out on the counter that he had cook for a day or more, then cover it in some kind of sauce and cook it again and eat it. Jeff was always getting sick, I finally told him "Stop eating that guys food!" We both had some really interesting roommates, but there comes a time when you've had enough with roommates. I got to this point and moved into my own apartment. Jeff was sad because it was farther away from his place. However, not too long after I moved in to my apartment, Jeff moved in with me. It was time, we were ready. This was also a difficult time in our lives with several deaths occur between our two families. Jeff's Mom passed away March 11, 2002. This was a very difficult time for Jeff and for the both of us. My Grandfather passed away, and a dear friend of mine passed away all around the same time. We needed eachothers support, so it was good for us to finally live together. Then, WHOOPS, in December of 2002 We found out we were going to have a baby! Hold on to you seats because it's a wild ride from here on out! Becoming parents has changed Jeff and I so very much. It has brought us closer together, and it has taught us what love is all about. You don't know what love is until you have a child. I have so much love for Ryan that is makes me cry just thinking about it. A happy cry of course.

Diary Entry on 12.Jun 2005: Jeff and I started dating six years ago this coming August

Jeff and I started dating in late summer of 1999. He was in Sacramento visiting his Dad. Jeff was going to school at MSU at the time and was on a summer break. We went on a few dates and then Jeff went back up to Montana to start the fall semester at school. Before Jeff left, he addressed an envelope and gave it to me and said " This is the first of many letters your going to send me" He said it with a smile on his face. I thought to myself "This guy is sure full of himself." I figured he was a nice guy, but we wouldn't keep in touch after he went back to Montana. I just assumed he'd go back to Montana and forget about me. I was suprised when I got back from a business trip to find two calls from Jeff on my answering machine. He called to let me know he made the drive back up to Montana okay and to say hello. We soon started comunicating every which way we could: Telephone, e-mail, instant messanger, mail. In November of 1999, I made my first trip up to Montana to visit Jeff. Let me tell you, I think I fell in love with Jeff and Montana. It's beautiful up there!!! We had a party at Jeff's house, and we also went to see some water falls, and went to Chico Hot Springs for a soak. It was a lot of fun. Jeff came down to Sacramento for Christmas that year too. Then I went back to Montana to visit Jeff in Feb, 2000. We went back and forth like this until Jeff finally moved down to California in May, 2000.

Crawford's Barn is a historic barn that was used to house race horses in the past. It has been preserved and is now used for social events such as weddings, anniversary parties, etc. It is situated on a private park in a residential setting. The park is well shaded by beautiful trees, and there is a play area for children.
